Our sofa beds are manufactured with both your safety and comfort in mind.
All of our sofa frames are made from 1st grade beech for maximum strength.
We use a 3 fold safety bed action that has to be opened and closed from
the foot of the bed.
Sleeping comfort is supplied by a 10cm(4") interior sprung mattress
that can be reversed for maximum wear.
Mattresses are available in a single bed size: 91cm (3'0") x 191cm(6'3")
and double bed size: 137cm (4'6") x 191cm (6'3").
If you wish to read in bed or watch television, each sofa bed has
a tilt mechanism to help support your head.
When the bed is open the seat and back cushions can be stored in the sofa
behind the head of the mattress to form a bed head.
Sitting comfort is supplied by Dacron Wrap seat cushions and Feather back
cushions.
Please note that unlike standard sofas, sofa beds can only be varied in
height if required, not their depth or width. The Oxford Low Back Sofa
Bed arms are upright and do not lean out as in the standard sofa.
