All of our frames are made from 1st grade kiln dried beech with joints dowelled, screwed and glued with additional supports at all major stress points for maximum strength. These frames are among the finest that you will find in the market place today and enable us to give a 25 year guarantee on our frames when used in domestic situations

Frames are first lined out with webbing and hessian for additional protection. Arms and backs are contoured from layers of traditional upholstery materials (hair, felts, fibres, etc.) for the smoothest durable finish possible.

Either sinuous tension flat springs or coil springs are used in the backs of our models for lumber support, comfort and durability.

The comfort of a quality sofa or chair is only as good as the seat springs within it. We use specially designed 9" coil springs units in most of our seats. By using various spring tensions and construction methods these units achieve comfort levels more than equal to any hand tied springs but with the added benefit that they will not lose their shape.

All springs are dipped to prevent them rusting.

All of our coil sprung seats are finished in the traditional manner with hair stuffed and hand stitched front edges. All fabrics are then sewn into this hair to prevent the front edge and seat from sagging and collapsing

Seats are covered in traditional hessians, felts and fibres to produce a durable platform.

A choice of Duck Feather and Duck Down, Sprinkled Feather (Mixture of Duck Feathers & Holofibre) or Holofibre cushion fillings are available to enable you to select the comfort level and posture support that you require.

All cushions are zipped, overlocked and pattern matched both sides for ease of cleaning and maximum wear.

Valances are hand sewn on to the furniture to ensure a perfect fit.

All fabrics are pattern matched and hand cut for that impeccable tailored look.

Kenrick orbital castors, polished wood bun feet or polished turned legs with brass and pot castors are fitted to most models.

Six inspection stages throughout manufacture, ensure that you receive the highest quality product possible.

The majority of our deliveries are carried out on our own transport to ensure that your upholstery arrives in perfect condition.
